What works

Game installs and I found no errors during first 15 minutes of play

What does not

Fullscreen mode shows a small picture in the top left corner of my screen. That's probably because changing the resolution to 1024x768 doesn't work with my configuration/LCD-screen

Additional Comments

This is how I installed the game and configured Wine: * Copy DVD/CDs to ISO-files (dd if=/dev/cdrom of=file.iso or so) * Mount isos * Using winecfg, set the Windows-version to win2k virtual desktop 1280x1024 * Install Baldur's Gate, choose custom install, and install all of it * Install Tales of the sword coast expansion choose custom install, and install all of it * Install the patch from http://www.bioware.com/games/tales_sword_coast/support/patches/ The game looks for the expansion cd on first CDROM drive when it loads, make it find your mounted iso by adding it as a CDROM drive in winecfg, set label = BG2 TOB serial = FA3D4822 edit Baldur.ini, set CD6 to path of mounted iso, in my case, when the ISO is mounted as F:\ and I installed from $HOME\bgcds\bg1.ext\ CD6:=H:\bgcds\bg1.ext\CD6\;F:\CD6\ Now you can play the game without inserting the CD when the game loads
