What works

I could not get this to install with Mono. Using winetricks to install dotnet20 worked. Changes made to your preferences, the UI and edited MP3's require world write permission. When you install the application, the default settings are stored in your wine c_drive under /users/Public/Application Data/ID3-TagIT 3/ The first time you make a change to the UI or your prererences, ID3-TagIT will create a folder on your wine c_drive under users/[your user name]/Application Data/ID3-TagIT 3/ The xml files in this folder must be world writable for any UI / preference changes to be saved. Repeat for emphasis: Changes made to MP3s will not be saved unless the file is world writable.

What does not

Nothing failed to work for me.

Workarounds

What was not tested

I do not use the web look-up feature; so, it is unknown to me whether FreeDB functions work or not.

Additional Comments

Repeat for emphasis: installer would not run under / with mono. I had to install dotnet20 to get it to work.
