What works

Application starts. Device configuration works fine. Settings may be downloaded from device and uploaded to device (tested with Brauniger IQ-BASIC/GPS) Flight records may be downloaded from device, graphs are being plotted, IGC export works.

What does not

Nothing non-working found so far.

What was not tested

Did not check internal flights database changing (ex. add flights from device to DB). Did not upload or download routes/waypoints.

To make FlyChart work with device In ~/.wine/user.reg section '[Software\\Flytec\\FlyChart\\Vario] 1446111168' should be updated with ComPort"="1" Assuming device is detected as ttyUSB0, the following link should be created: # ln -s /dev/ttyUSB0 ~/.wine/dosdevices/com1 As /dev/ttyUSB0 is a dynamically created device, its permissions are being re-set at each device attachment. For some reason adding the user to "dialout" group didn't help but the following launch method works: sudo chmod 777 /dev/ttyUSB0 && wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/FlyChart/Sys/FlyChart.exe
