Using latest steam version of fallout 4 installed in 64-bit prefix.
What does not
Game won't run without wine compiled with audio patch, also you'll have to disable godrays, otherwise game will crash.
Some people experience lod meshes being rendered inside of buildings and jumping, inresponsive mouse.
These problems (except for buildings) are adressed in workarounds.
To actually get past starting video, you need to compile wine with audio hack https://bugs.winehq.org/show_b... (see attachments).
Alternatively, you could use usual wine version but you need to set bEnableAudio=0 (Of course, you wont have any sound in game) in FalloutDefault.ini in your game root folder.
Tested on wine 2.17-staging, 2.18-staging and 2.19-staging.
Game also will crash unless you have godrays disabled, to do this put this line in your FalloutDefault.ini:
Some people experience annoying bug with jumping and accelerating mouse. To fix this (huge thanks to Thomas), enable "emulate virtual desktop","automatically capture cursor in full-screen windows" and add this line to your Fallout.ini (in My Games folder) or to FalloutDefault.ini:
Game also might freeze after you exit to desktop, you'll have to manually kill the process.
What was not tested
Extended gameplay, different drivers and distributives.
It also appears that some people experience lod meshes being rendered inside of buildings, but it doesn't break the game.
