Additional Comments

Logging in crashes the launcher (something jscript related, same as with earlier test results). You can still run the game by quickly clicking in the place where the "start game" button appears after you entered the password. After the game shuts down the launcher will continue with the crash but that's no big deal.

HowTo / Notes

Getting StarStable to install on Linux

I use Pop!_OS, a derivative of Ubuntu.

I install Wine and Wine64.  I think installed PlayOnLinux (just because it makes life easier) and Winetricks.

From there:

1. Created SSO 64 bit WINE container through PlayOnLinux.
2. env WINEARCH="win64" WINEPREFIX="/home/mitch/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/SSO" bash winetricks
3. Then selected default prefix
4. Selected Install Font.
5. Selected corefonts... let it do its thing.
