What works

Installation, directory browsing, file deletion, preview of supported file types, text editing and printing (with Editor²) and some file operations.

What does not

File copying operations have no effect:

File listings do not update when deleting files.  Have to be manually refreshed with Ctrl-R.

Thumbnail view in window panes doesn't work.

Can't browse network shares (linked to …/dosdevices/unc/server/public):

fixme:shell:ISF_NetworkPlaces_fnParseDisplayName not implemented for L"\\\\server\\public"

Edit>Paste special>Symbolic link fails:

fixme:file:CreateSymbolicLinkW (L"C:\\x2tips.txt" L"C:\\Program Files\\zabkat\\xplorer2_lite\\x2tips.txt" 0): stub

Edit>Paste special>Hard link only pastes an empty directory:

fixme:tape:BackupWrite (0x10c, 0x14fe4bc, 20, 0x14fe4d4, 0, 0, 0x14fe4d8)

Edit>Paste special>Folder junction/Paste creates a symlink but there is a warning:

fixme:ntdll:FILE_CreateSymlink Atomic replace of directory with symbolic link unsupported on this system, may result in race condition.

Ftp test (ftp://gnu.mirror.iweb.com) fails:

fixme:shdocvw:IEParseDisplayNameWithBCW stub: 0x0 L"ftp://gnu.mirror.iweb.com/" 0x1bca78 0x427e9e0

Context menus when right-clicking files and directories only show heading.

Xplorer² 3.0.0.4 Editor² v2.9.2.2 Ansi Xubutnu 14.04, AMD Phenom 9550, GeForce GTX 750Ti with Nvidia 340.96 driver. Using wine-staging from wine-staging PPA. Advanced settings editor (X2SettingsEditor.exe) requires mfc42.dll: winetricks -q vcrun6 Editor² prints blank pages without riched20 installed: winetricks -q riched20 Uses IE for ftp support.
