Workarounds

  1. Use DirectX9 (its the default option anyway)
  2. Add an override through winecfg for using native XAudio2_7.dll after you either:
    • Put it manually under system32 (I prefer this as a "cleaner" solution)
    • Use winetricks xact to auto install the missing dll (among others)
