What works

Works nicely if used with correct wine settings:

  • Use Windows 7 emulation (windows XP is too old)
  • Disable library 'd3d11' from Libraries tab
  • Use wine >1.8 (tested 1.6.2 to not work)

Used by installing windows Steam-client in wine and installing game normally from there.

What does not

If used in full screen and use Alt+Tab to go back to host system, the game freezes (if used in windowed mode it allows this)

If game is started directly the Steam-client breaks visually, (a lot of black stuff?, buttons and label missing, menus not showing, etc.)
There is also a possibility that Steam-client is left on background after closing game.

What was not tested

All screen resolutions.

Additional Comments

The bug that I had was : fixme:d3d11:D3D11CoreCreateDevice Ignoring feature levels. fixme:dxgi:dxgi_check_d3d10_support Ignoring adapter type. fixme:dxgi:dxgi_device_init Ignoring adapter type. That indicates that there may be something wrong in “Direct3D 11” and by disabling it and changing windows version from XP to 7 seem to fix problem. Thanks to Stefano in explaining how to fix this problem.
