The game appears to require a CD-ROM device so make sure you add one in winecfg, it can point to anything.

Executable modification

Replacing the privileged instruction with NOPs makes the executable run, but only a black screen is displayed while the title music plays.

However, the game runs just fine (i.e. as it did in 1.9.1, when I last submitted a report) in windowed mode.

Had to replace all four instructions of that kind to get the game running. On my executable from gog id had the instruction "mov eax cr4"

With that change on the binary the game seems to work fine.

I suggest to use wines option to emulate a virtual screen to avoid screen resolution changes for the videos
