What does not
Installation is a mess, as seen from the other comments, though I had a slightly different problem come up.
After following the advice here about starting a 32-bit wine prefix, using winetricks adobe_diged4.
However, the application would crash complaining about not being able to find libpng12.so.0
I found that I had to manually download and install the 32 bit version of libpng12.0 ubuntu library like so:
$ wget http://se.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/libp/libpng/libpng12-0_1.2.54-1ubuntu1_i386.deb $ dpkg -i libpng12-0_1.2.54-1ubuntu1_i386.deb
The application then loaded perfectly.
