The game launches, that's about it.

What does not

The game installs through origin fine, but whether launching the game from origin directly or from a second terminal running the .exe directly, the game gets to the main menu and brings up a message to say "Origin(EA) is no longer running, Mass Effect 3 will now close". The game then proceeds to exit.

I attempted to run origin in "offline mode" to resolve this, but this did not change the result.

ME3 crash immediatly - will not start

Origin seems to work now that I figured out how to get it to run. I can run Sims 4 and Dragon Age II just fine, but ME3 simply will not startup. I installed DirectX, physx, vc. corefonts. When I go to run it, Origin vanishes for a second and comes right back. ME3 dies immediately. I can get the config utility to run, but not me3 itself. Tried wine 4.21 and 5.8. New prefix, old prefix. Nothing. Tried to run it directly after starting Origin, same.

Unable to move mouse to bottom 1/3 of planets.

I'm able to move around planets freely when scanning, except for the bottom 1/3 of them, the scanning cursor just won't go down that far for some reason, but it does go all the way to the top just fine, and left and right.

This wasn't a huge issue at first and largely ignored it, just deciding I would deal with missing out on a few war assets here or there, but I'm on the mission where I need to save the Primarch's son on Tuchanka and just, can't start the mission because it is on the bottom section of the planet that my scanning cursor just won't go to.
