Installed Origin using the instructions here https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=26175&iTestingId=92022 When origin is in online mode, it will attempt to create a popup of some kind when getting an achievement. When this happens Origin crashes. When Origin crashes mass effect 3 shuts down with a message stating it won't continue while origin is not running. Switching Origin to off-line mode fixes this issue for me. To work around mouse pointer issues I had to set a wine desktop to the resolution I was playing the game in. Everything else just works.

ME3 crash immediatly - will not start

Origin seems to work now that I figured out how to get it to run. I can run Sims 4 and Dragon Age II just fine, but ME3 simply will not startup. I installed DirectX, physx, vc. corefonts. When I go to run it, Origin vanishes for a second and comes right back. ME3 dies immediately. I can get the config utility to run, but not me3 itself. Tried wine 4.21 and 5.8. New prefix, old prefix. Nothing. Tried to run it directly after starting Origin, same.

Unable to move mouse to bottom 1/3 of planets.

I'm able to move around planets freely when scanning, except for the bottom 1/3 of them, the scanning cursor just won't go down that far for some reason, but it does go all the way to the top just fine, and left and right.

This wasn't a huge issue at first and largely ignored it, just deciding I would deal with missing out on a few war assets here or there, but I'm on the mission where I need to save the Primarch's son on Tuchanka and just, can't start the mission because it is on the bottom section of the planet that my scanning cursor just won't go to.
