What works
Single player works beautifully at 2560x1440 with antialiasing on a GeForce GTX 1060 (struggled at 4K).
Sometimes sound gets slightly out of sync then corrects itself, mostly in cut scenes. Once someone I was talking to was invisible sometimes, that could be a bug in the game though.
Imported a character from ME2 on Steam by copying Save from
steamapps/compatdata/24980/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My\ Documents/BioWare/Mass\ Effect\ 2/
to My Documents in the Wineprefix (symlinked to Documents in my home dir).
What does not
Origin install failed with 64bit Wineprefix.
Origin In Game caused the game to crash on start.
DLC downloads in Origin were shonky.
Workarounds
To install Origin I used the legacy installer and created a 32bit Wineprefix as described in https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#Wineprefixes
I disabled Origin In Game in the ME3 properties in Origin, otherwise it crashed on start.
The DLC downloads kept hanging in Origin, I used a combination of pausing and resuming, and restarting Origin to get them going again.
What was not tested

This wasn't a huge issue at first and largely ignored it, just deciding I would deal with missing out on a few war assets here or there, but I'm on the mission where I need to save the Primarch's son on Tuchanka and just, can't start the mission because it is on the bottom section of the planet that my scanning cursor just won't go to.
