Normal gameplay with few hitches, played 30+ hours up to level 7 so far. Tried save, load, teleport, spells, combat, quests, spellmaking, dying.
What does not
Game crashes after ~3 hours continuous use, plan saves accordingly (hit twice in ~30 hrs).
Changing default mapping of actions to keys (Options -> Controls from main menu). Selecting an action causes indefinite hang, and uses "Pause" key for selected action.
Character displayed upside down in window with level, stats, weight.
Mixing potions often complains "Type in a name" for the potion. Retrying several times gets through the warning. Naming a potion gets ignored after one try.
Game freezes ~2 sec entering/leaving combat mode. (Others call this hang "change music" hang, but I only see it when combat starts and when it ends)
What was not tested
Creating enchanted items.
Most disturbing problem is crash after several hours continuous play. Saving every 5-10 min is easy workaround. Alchemy "input name" problem has a few workarounds. Easiest/fastest is keep clicking, and it will work (3x as many clicks as normal). Unfortunately naming a potion works just for that one attempt. The name goes back to default, and you get the message again. "input name" problem doesn't always appear, but is fairly frequent if you make potions. Despite detailed comments, the game is quite fun and playable!

Music has to be erased from Data Files/Music prior running the game (required only for Wine < 0.9.36).
When game ask about mp3 files, press Esc.
In winecfg set vertex shader mode to hardware. If you've got Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (Video card), make sure you deselect "Vertex shader support" in winecfg, otherwise you won't be able to exit the ship in the beginning of the game.
In winecfg set winver=win98 for best application behavior.

You can get much better water rendering and rid of red inventory person artifacts using 3D acceleration:
