What works

- The installer 4.0.0.0 works fine, - The softare could be started and the GUI was responsive. - Using the GUI to change a the controller Dll : Menu -> Hardware -> Traverse Controller ->Setup -> change dll from Manual seems to work. Initial testing of the dll could be done. In the present case, it was identified that the dll is faulty (32bit dll does not work with 64bit application

What does not

- Applying the Update installer 4.2.0.0 failed.

Workarounds

What was not tested

No ohter functionality was tested. Espically, non of the data acquisition functionality was tested. There was no hardware connected, so the test was quite limited.

Additional Comments

- The windows version had to be set to Windows 7. - MS Core fonts (Arial, etc.) had to be installed through winetricks. - Wenn starting the application a second time, a number of warning war shown, complaining that some histograms (figures) can not be generated. When confirming these warning, application seems to work.
