Additional Comments

Framerate is not stable and v-sync seems to make no difference. It's playable, but there are frequent pauses (many times a second) and creates some jerky game play. I use an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660, and this card should be plenty powerful to play the game. Merely starting the game is a hit-or-miss affair. It will often lock up entirely before and on the menu, and require me to run "wineserver -k" and try again. It seems that if I manage to actually get to the point of play levels, it runs without any freezes, but it can take several tries before getting there.
