What works

pretty much everything:

  • installation
  • playing the demo using hardware rendering (both wine's fullscreen and virtual desktop mode works)
  • sound, music, voices
  • loading, saving
  • intro, cutscenes
  • rendering, visuals are fine

What does not

the game's own fullscreen mode: on startup wine crashes, unless you set "bFullScreen" to "0" in config.ini

mouse movement is sluggish in the menus and on the inventory screen

What was not tested

the game, using software rendering

everything else was tested, I played out the demo

Hardware tested

  • GPU:
  • Driver:

Additional Comments

Note: you need to change the "bFullScreen=1" entry to "bFullScreen=0" in the config.ini to get the game to start. The noticeable sluggish movement of the mouse in the menus was the only issue I encountered during gameplay. Ran fine for me, tested in a clean Wine environment, no dll overrides were needed.
