What works

Mostly everything. I was able to play the game and finish it.

I had a few gameplay bugs, the most important one being the lack of a weapon during the tutorial. From what I found on the Internet, this bug could also happen on Windows, so it does not seem at all related to Wine.

Anyway, I strongly recommend enabling the console (adding " -console" to the shortcut created by the installer) to allow some modifications in case you need them. "give item_w_fists" solved the tutorial weapon issue, although I never tried simply restarting the game again to see if it would work.

I also used the console to give myself a webcam in one sidequest, because the one I had didn't work. Again, this bug seems completely unrelated to Wine. Also, a secondary boss didn't appear at a given occasion near the end, but using "noclip" to pass through a door allowed me to continue the game. In very rare occasions, using "noclip" to get unstuck from some place might be useful. I usually reloaded to a saved state before getting stuck and the problem disappeared.

The first time any new area is entered, two messages appear ("A.I. disabled" and "Node graph out of date. Rebuilding"), but they are harmless and do not appear again in that area.

In very few occasions, I had the game crash with different error messages, but simply restarting it and doing the same thing again worked. Because the game autosaves in some places, and saving is quite fast, it never really made me lose anything. Such crashes are likely caused by fast Alt+Tabbing during heavy combat scenes.

Overall, I'm really glad Wine allowed me to play the game entirely, and the console really helped preventing minor issues from blocking the game.

What does not

Nothing that I am aware of.
