WineHQ

League of Legends Chinese version aka Ó¢ÐÛÁªÃË

Apparently 3 versions behind the North American version, 6.9. Better music and graphics a lot of times.

What works

The installation app downloads and correctly lays out all 5.2 gigabytes.

What does not

The app on NTFS mounted /windows/Games/Ó¢ÐÛÁªÃË/Game/League of Legends.exe

I took out the spaces in the name but it gave the same error with the spaces.

Additional Comments

I mounted NTFS formatted logic drive at /windows but Wine is still running from home/xxx/.wine, because previously I found windows apps ran better when on native blocks not ext#. Installed air adobe directly, used winetricks, couldn't find how to install .msu, for d3dx9_36 still haven't installed corefonts. Note the installations program bulked at the missing NSIS.dll in mfc42 so I installed it with winetricks and it worked fine. Other errors include the Chinese GB formatted fonts through out the installation either being shown as Ó¢ÐÛÁªÃË or completely missing. The launch program at the end was clicked but completely blank. I unclicked it since it was recommended under PlayonLinux for the North American LoL. (which didn't load either but it wasn't on the NTFS drive)
