Installation from x86 Office 2013 ISO image to a clean 32-bit Wine prefix.
Activation using active Microsoft account.
Opening and saving Word documents.
Editing Word documents (only did basic checks).
Document "protection" and encryption features.
Recording and using macros (only tested a very basic one).
Using online templates from menu.
What does not
Exporting Word document to PDF (file appeared to be blank, but text selectable).
Resizing the Microsoft Word window (starts maximsed, fails after unmaximising).
Indent/Spacing in "Page Layout" do not show correct up/down icons (buttons still work)
Typefaces appear somewhat aliased, unlike native Linux/Windows applications.
What was not tested
Most likely anything else not listed as "tested".
Winetricks and Mono (said not found, declined offer to install) were not used. Requires a DLL override for "riched20.dll", select "Native (Windows)" (bug 14980) to allow for activation by Microsoft account, as well as not having black font/size labels. The registry value "HKCU\Software\Wine\Direct3D\MaxVersionGL" (DWORD) must be set to "30002" (hex) to avoid a black screen on load. You may need to create the "Direct3D" key first if it is not present.
