I used a 64 Bit wineprefix and Mesa 17.1.5. It ran really smooth on the highest settings and 2560x1440 with my hardware: CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K (4 x 3,7 GHz) RAM: 24 GB DDR3 2133 MHz CL 9 Graphic card: HIS Radeon HD 7850 IceQ X Turbo Sound card: Asus Xonar D1

Possibly only on older versions of wine, there may be graphical issues with the program, including black screen on launch, corrupted textures, etc. These issues, especially the black screen issue, may be race conditions and are sometimes resolved when restarting the program, erasing the wineprefix, or rebooting the computer.
