Install vcrun2003 riched20 gdiplus corefonts with winetricks You need to tweak the registry to show Chinese properly. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes Delete all Tohoma keys. For Fedora users, install the following packages for fonts: wqy-microhei-fonts Optionally install this too: wqy-zenhei-fonts Then use the following code to add a few keys to the registry: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontLink\SystemLink] "Lucida Sans Unicode"="wqy-microhei.ttc" "Microsoft Sans Serif"="wqy-microhei.ttc" "MS Sans Serif"="wqy-microhei.ttc" "Tahoma"="wqy-microhei.ttc" "Tahoma Bold"="wqy-microhei.ttc" "SimSun"="wqy-microhei.ttc" "Arial"="wqy-microhei.ttc" "Arial Black"="wqy-microhei.ttc" Or with wqy-zenhei.ttc if you like provided that you installed the optional package mentioned above.
