What works
I have been able to install BibleWorks 10 from the flash drive without a hitch (no need to use Crossover). No extra tricks in wine were needed to get it running. The help files and other things that previously did not work out of the box now seem to run flawlessly. The textcritical apparatus function of eg BHS and LXX(RH) works quite well. However, if I change from one apparatus to another one, I generally have to first restart the program. Also, in the NT apparatus, the Greek font works, but some of the letters are a few points larger. This is slightly irritating but still readable. There is surely a workaround.
What does not
The menu and toolbar do not initialize on startup. However, these can be accessed easily with their shortcuts. Ie, to access File, just type the shortcut alt + f. To initialize the toolbar, all you have to do is type alt + v > Toolbar >Initialize main toolbar. Once it is initialized, the toolbar generally remains visible until you close the program (this is however not the case with the menu, which does not remain visible).
