I can install the software and run it. I can open books, annotate them (highlights, comments) and even synchronize them. I have successfully used the search feature multiple times. On the books where they are enabled, the XRay and flashcards features also work flawlessly.
What does not
A recent and small crash happened when I tried to open a purchased dictionary (that is, one that is not a default one). I fixed it by opening winetricks and installing the corefonts package. After this very short procedure I was able to open the aforementioned dictionary, so, for me, this cannot be said to "not work".
Clicking on Web links opens Internet Explorer, while I'd like to launch Firefox (I think I was able to do this some time ago, but I never knew how I did). This issue may be related to my Wine configurations though, and so I don't think it is safe attributing it to this Kindle for PC version. I can open the links without any crash happening however, so even this is not strictly a "non working" feature.
What was not tested
Synchronization with Kindle devices, if that exists. I don't have any and so can't comment.
