Installation of main game and expansions. Game play for the most part works fine, with some tweaks needed. All the mods I've tried so far have worked correctly. Construction set seems to work.
What does not
Cannot read .mp3s in the Music directory, delete them and press ESC when prompted (Yes/No) to continue when they are not found. Red background in inventory, incomplete view of clothing for character as well. Keyboard configuration hangs when you are asked to input the new key. Game will crash unexpectedly at times, especially after taking a boat ride or a silt-strider ride. Can be gotten around by saving then reloading in-game before each trip by standard transportation. Automapping does not work. Cannot create a new mod in the contsruction set, but can modify existing mods.
What was not tested
Haven't played completely through game, but have tried a sample of the most common activities.

About windows getting minimized, the workaround is pretty simple : the MenuStates of the .ini file is reset everytime you launch the game, which causes it to define minimized windows. What you need to do is chmod it to read-only (chmod 444 does the trick) after having changed the MenuStates parameters to suitable window sizes.
I got it to work with around 50 mods, the thing is the .ini file needs to update the modlist, so you first need to run Morrowind with a writable .ini file (chmod 644 works like a charm), then you can kill the process immediately afterwards (wineserver -k after Ctrl+Alt+F1 for instance), chmod the .ini to 444 after checking the MenuStates section is still well and about, and launch the game !
