What works

Most basic aspects of MusicBee works, which includes playback,layout, theming, and even internet based aspects like 

artwork downloading.

What does not

The section in preference titled file converter wont work and would immediately crash the app. 

ability to change font is non functional and if you change from the default that is Taohma (the reason for me changing it is its lack of japanese font support) it will glitch to Taohma and a very small font size which was 3.5. 

The creation of new music database freezes the app and crashes it as well

Workarounds

I was unable to find any for file converter issue

for the font change the workaround was to install the app on windows and set meiryo (any font depending on your requirement may be used here)as the font(this font must also be installed in wine as well by either using winetricks or by copying the font.ttl file into .wine/windows/fonts ) and then copy the app data from user data folder on windows to the same on .wine/user/USER/appdata/

Additional Comments

general performance is also not very good(but is very functional), and there are more than a couple of app crashes and for some reason there album art seems to not work properly (wheter than is related to wine or the external storage my music is stored in is to be known)
