Download Wine 1.7.38
Create a new 32 bit Virtual Drive (Select Wine 1.7.38)
Name the drive "Smite"
Click the newly created drive
Click Install Components
Â Â 1 - Install dotnet35sp1
Â Â 2 - Install dotnet40
Â Â 3 - Install Flash Player
Â Â 4 - Install dxfullsetup
Â Â 5 - Install xact
Â Â 6 - Install vcrun2008
Â Â 7 - Install vcrun2010
Â Â 8 - Install gdiplus
Â Â 9 - Install Adobe Flash ActiveX
Â Â +Â Download Adobe Flash ActiveX
Â Â + Click Miscellaneous Tab
Â Â + Click "Run a .exe file in this virtual drive"Â
Â Â + Search for the file you just downloaded (It should be "install_flash_player_ax.exe")
Â Â + Follow installation instructions
Â Â + When prompted to select "When to update Flash Player" Select "Never check for updates"
Â Â Â 10 - Install Smite
Â Â + Change your Systems Date between "2011 - 2013" Otherwise you won't be able to update Smite (I put the year at 2012)
Â Â + Download the Launcher
Â Â +Â Click "Run a .exe file in this virtual drive" again
Â Â + Search for the Smite Launcher installation file
Â Â + Follow the instructions (Install wherever you want, I kept everything as default settings)
Â Â Â 11 - Allow Smite to download the game
Â Â Â 12 - Click the "General Tab"Â
Â Â Â 13 - Click Create a shortcut (If it hasn't already come up)
Â Â Â 14 - Click HiRezLauncherUI.exe and name it "Smite"
Â Â Â 15 - In the General Tab put "game=300 product=17" (without quotes) in the arguments text box
Â Â Â 16 - Go to Miscellaneous Tab put "net start HiPatchService" into the exec before running textboxÂ
Â Â Â 17 - Profit
Sometimes the patcher will bug out when updating the game, or freeze. If you have a Up-To-Date version of smite AND HiRezLauncher you can follow these instructions.
Â Â 1 - Replace your HiRez folder with the "Up-To-Date" version HiRez Folder
Â Â 2 - Run Smite through PlayOnLinux and Click "Fix"
Â Â 3 - Let Smite Validate and Update
Â Â 4 - Play the game :)Â
What does not
Everything works, but in order to log in your System time HAS to be between 2011 - 2013. Once you log in, you can change it back to whatever. There was a support ticket made about this issue #150524-000184

I am running Xubuntu 14.04 Window Compositor = Compton Graphics Card/Drivers = Nvidia GTX 980 / Driver Version # = 346.72 CPU = AMD FX-8350 RAM = 16GB DDR3 1333MHz Game Settings Everything is at max settings @ 1920x1080
