If the gamecrashes after explosion of the reactor try jamming space until everyone left the laboratory - this helped me to avoid this bug. Some kind of deadlock "err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection" The game is bit laggy during fights but also the Windows users complain about this, so it seems to be a game bug.
