Everything i tested worked perfectly out of the box.
* Starting a new game in Science mode
* Game settings
* VAB and SPH
* Launching a rocket in a sub-orbital trajectory and landing
* EVA
* Unlocking parts with science points
What does not
My computer froze when i changed from windowed to fullscreen, but I think I'm just impatient and this is unrelated to Wine. Anyway, after a restart I could get fullscreen working.

Got tired with all the flaws in the Linux version and gave Wine a try. Was not dissapointed :) Used a 64 bits PREFIX, installed Steam and then KSP.

I found a workaround for the cockpit in a thread here, as it was having the same error : forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=79859
Basically you need to download the 32 bit versions of libx11-6 and libxi6, open them with archive manager and move the libXi.so.6.1.0, and libX11.so.6.3.0 files to /usr/lib32.
I am working on the crashes with the hangars/;aunchpad.
