What works

application fully install, and is almost fully functionnal:

poddibility to create a new library, add remove modify entries

online search is available.

plugin installs in word 2007

open pdf in adobe acrobat if installed

auto update of software from 7.0 to 7.5 to 7.7 works ok

What does not

1-the first welcome screen is blank

2-online sync does not work : "EndNote could not connect to the online sync service. This may be due to a temporary Internet or SErver error. Please try again"

3-word CWYW does not work (from app and online): "No error message available"

4- online full text search fails  (Seems like it missing connexion  with iexplorer )

5- error when try to send pdf by email (application close with error alert: wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000002 at address 0x7bb0a320 (thread 005d))

create a win32 prefix on a x64 install (because of office 2007) #use winecfg to set windows 7 winecfg # see the MS office pages for procedure WINEPREFIX="$HOME/.wine" WINEARCH=win32 wine wineboot winetricks corefonts dotnet20 riched20 gdiplus # you can copy Font from somewhere else or use winetricks to add more if some text are missing in the app. # purely for endnote winetricks riched20 riched30 wininet gdiplus # then install with the Endnote.exe
