Before installing, set global Windows version to Windows 95 - setup does not recognize Windows 95 if you set it as an application-specific Windows version. After installation, you can reset your global Windows version and set Windows 95 as a Dragon Dice-specific setting. You can safely answer "no" to setup's offer to install DirectX, however you should install the video codecs if you want to guarantee access to in-game video tutorials. If you want to ensure that the in-game tutorial videos will work, open winecfg and ensure you have a D: drive setup on the Drives tab. Under "Show Advanced", ensure that the drive type for D: is "CD-ROM". Ensure that your Dragon Dice CD is mounted to the "target folder" for D: before launching Dragon Dice.
