When downloading the linux version, it can be used to run a sentinel license server. The same dongle can be used to run on Windows as well.
Using this tool made it possible to make a Sentinel license server run on linux.

What does not
Trying to use the same version and install the version locally, did make the windows application (UltraView) make use of the usb dongle. Actually, it did not recognisze the dongle.
What was not tested
Since the aksusb is available on linux, and aksusb.sys is required on Windows, I'm wondering whether there would be an easy tranlation between these two. It might not be necessary, to go through the whole usb stack, and trying to make the hasplmd for windows work on linux. There might be an easier solution. Moreover, there is a file called "/usr/sbin/winehasp" and I'm wondering whether this is related to the wine project.
