Playing the game.
What does not
Flawless use of the interface, unglitchy graphics.
The game works only at the lowest resolution in windowed mode. If you have a window-manager like i3, which doesn't respect the wishes of applications, you can workaround this:
Configure the game in the launcher to the lowest resolution, borderless window. Start the game, wait until the main menu, then force the window into fullscreen mode (Meta+F in i3).
The menu will now look weird, but just load your savegame. Loading screen will also look weird. The main game however will look fine - for the most part.
While you can play normally, the mouse is locked to a upper left rectangle of the screen, which means you will need to exit fullscreen (Meta+F again) when using menus.
Also, dialog boxes have nice rainbow backgrounds and the trees are glitching up a bit.
What was not tested
Playing for a longer time.
You could play the whole game like this, I guess, but I haven't tried it.
