Learn Japanese To Survive! Hiragana Battle

What works

The game doesn't work on a base Wine installation. Most things (including gameplay proper, saving and Hiragana font) work after the workarounds are applied, but some problems exist.

What does not

The game has somewhat heavy lag in some screens, and no audio.

Workarounds

Installed winetricks and ran this in the terminal:
winetricks atmlib corefonts gdiplus msxml3 msxml6 vcrun2008 vcrun2010 vcrun2012 fontsmooth-rgb

Then ran winecfg and set Windows Version to Windows 2008 (Vista, 2003 and XP work as well)

Nothing.
