Additional Comments

Testing was done in a clean Wine prefix with Intel i7 Q740 and ATI Radeon HD 5870 hardware using the Steam version with game build v3717. Installation procedure is as follows: WINEARCH=win32 Installed Steam via Winetricks Run Steam via Wine Download and install ASAMU ------------------- The following Windows DLL packages and fonts were installed via Winetricks: allfonts d3dx9 dotnet40 l3codecx (?) vcrun2010 (?) vcrun2015 (?) xact ------------------- Additional packages such as directx9, xinput, d3dx10_43, d3dx11_43 etc were installed by Winetricks alongside the above. YMMV. The issue of audio not working was solved by installing lib32-openal. Other 32-bit libraries installed are lib32-sdl, lib32-sdl2, and lib32-mpg123. Again, YMMV. Default sound driver was set to Pulse Audio using Winetricks. Windows version used throughout install was set to Windows XP. ------------------- Gameplay is stuttery at times, especially when moving your view quickly from one side to another. The mouse movement will also get stuck during these periods but it will return a moment later.
