What works

Initial screen comes up.  Can close the dialogue asking if you want to install the State version.  That's it.

What does not

Cannot navigate through Q&A (buttons do not respond at all).  Cannot import prior year tax return (nothing happens on screen, various messages scroll through on command window).

Seems that it is looking for some form of MSIE merely to render the application, but there no longer seems to be a workable version of MSIE (especially IE8) that can be installed under Wine.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Anything beyond installing, and finding the interface is non-responsive was not tested, because the application does not respond to input.
