Installation works (only Windows XP). It took quite some time, and the installer progress bar didn't update for quite some time, but finally it finished. A lot of FIXME warning messages appeared on the console. When starting, the splash screen appeared and was always-on-top, hiding the license agreement screen. Not allowing the window manager to control the windows helped here. Then, the game started. The main menu (live in 3d) works, but it's so slow I think it is using software rendering. Maybe the options would tell me something if I had fonts... Starting the game also works, but without text it doesn't give any fun.
What does not
There are no texts at all - you don't know which button you're pressing if you haven't played/seen it on windows (which I haven't). The cursor is all grey. Sound didn't work, I guess it's either because I didn't get to the options screen to change something, or because of this messages on the console: ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:801:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) The dmix plugin supports only playback stream. Thousands of the following message were echoed: fixme:d3d:get_src_and_opr Unhandled texture arg D3DTA_SPECULAR
What was not tested
Playing the game, since I didn't know which buttons to press.
The game echoed some font related messages: fixme:font:GetFontUnicodeRanges (0x6a40, (nil)): stub fixme:font:GetFontUnicodeRanges (0x6a40, 0x3450ce4): stub This could(?) be a reason for the not-displayed fonts.
