To get this game working properly, you will need to set the emulated Windows version to at least 8.1 because of the DirectX driver requirements.
Otherwise, everything in the game works, including the ability to use the recordmydesktop utility to create a video of the game play.
Also, you will need to run "MSIEXEC /I" to install this game, and make sure the Mono runtime has been configured (which should have already been done when Wine was launched the first time).
What does not
Audio cuts out after 29 minutes of gameplay. This is on a Hewlett-Packard 8510p laptop with 3GB of memory and running Fedora 25 with the MATE desktop.
When WINE is configured for Windows 7, graphics are muddled to the point where the game is unplayable. You need to configure Wine to emulate at least Windows 8.1 or 10 to make the game playable.
As for Windows XP and Vista emulation, the game will not launch when Wine is configured for Windows versions below 7.
What was not tested
Full screen play. I have successfully tested this with windowed gameplay and fast graphics (due to the age of my laptop, and the built-in ATi Radeon 2600 graphics board).
I rated this Bronze due to the issues with audio cutting out after 29 minutes of gameplay, and the fact that you need to configure Wine to emulate Windows 8.1 (and later) to properly display graphics. This would have had a gold rating otherwise.
