What works
Making new document, opening images, all the left toolbar, masking, effects, cropping. Content-aware works too.
All buttons and panels looks normal, it really feels like native windows.
What does not
Activation is a bit of hiccups; you need to manually close the app after activate because pdapp can't open photoshop. But once you run photoshop again, it runs smoothly without error message.
Export as doesn't work.
Libraries blacked out.
Workarounds
Put firewall for photoshop in /etc/hosts.
Use winetricks:
WINEPREFIX = ... winetricks -q allfonts fontsmooth=rgb gdiplus atmlib vcrun2008 vcrun2010 vcrun2012 vcrun2013 vcrun2022
msxml3 msxml6
What was not tested
Detailed filters and 3d manipulation, plugin, extension.
Things that only Photoshop aficionado would do in this app.
Hardware tested

I can do "File>Open" and "File>Save" without any problems.
Is there any additional components I should be adding to Wine to be able to see the missing pop ups?
I have the DirectX packages etc for gaming but not sure what I'm missing
