After spending a great amount of time trying to get Dreamweaver MX 2004 working, I tried Dreamweaver 8. This is a LOT easier.
For this to work I actually *had to crack* my Dreamweaver 8 installation. After copying the Program Files/ dir installed version from a working Windows XP computer, it was simply able to start it. It should work with a freshly newly generated .wine dir (just after running winecfg for the first time). I've also copied some things from the Program Files/Common Files/ files, just to be sure. I can't tell wether this was necesairy.
Tested using a Kubuntu breezy installation with wine 0.9.2.
My apt/sources.list has the following line to provide me with the latest wine release all the time:
deb http://wine.sourceforge.net/apt/ binary/
What does not
You will probably not get it to work without having to find a windows box somewhere around :)
The site Manager will not show it's tab-contained widgets unless you refresh the tabs by switching to another tab (and perhaps back again).
It appears to 'steal the focus' sometimes, though this could be related to my situation.
What was not tested
I've only been working in it for a short while before posting this.
Great work, I'm so eager to work more in Linux! I was really missing this app.

To make Dreamweaver 8 run to the known point of operation, delete all of the startup files from C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Startup\
