This is a DX11 game. So, it is likely not to work. The problem is identical to the error described in Bug #41493. Steam shows a pop-up saying: "Completing Installation: 1%" then after about a minute another one says: "Steam servers are too busy to handle your request (Error 55)". Bug #41493 was fixed. I tried to forgo the launcher and launch the main executable directly. that had no effect. I have set my prefix to Win 7. Also not using any symlinks. The game has its own dllcheck.exe in another folder and it's got a installscript.vdf. That last file can be edited. Given what I read about this pop up message there is probably a work around.
