What works

What does not

The program comes with an own font named "thai111.TTF". A command-button on the forms to learn/excercise toggles the language settings between phonetic/native lang/thai. In wine the topic 'Thai' is not working.

When I switch to thaifont instead of characters chess-symbols are being displayed.

After setting the program up the font can be found in C:\Windows\Fonts\

I have further installed this font using the system-settings of my openSUSE Leap 42.1 distibution

I have made numerous efforts to install this program, even tried a few  debugging steps as shown in the WineHQ developer section. Unfortunately my skills are not sufficient for any further conclusion/remedy

I am using the program now in Oracles VirtualBox with a Win7 IE11 version. There  I don't have this problem.

Possibly there is a flaw in the fontfile

What was not tested

I will create a new fontfile and replace the one which came with the program.

In case of success I will send an update.
