What works

Connects to the device automatically if the device is turned on and connected to the computer with USB before app is started

Shows version information, installed and available effects etc.

Downloads the effects automatically through internet

Effects can be updated, added to the device and removed from there

Patches can be dragged&dropped to the patch pool and metadata edited there

Patches can be moved from the device to the patch pool

Backup of all the patches can be created

What does not

I didn't get saving patches to the device working. It seems to let you to do it, but they just don't appear into the device's patch list. This would be a major feature for many users.

Doesn't find the device if it's connected after the app is started.

Additional Comments

Needs Windows version 7. I had to create a pure 32-bit prefix and installed Microsoft's .NET (it needs at least 4.0 - I don't know if it works with mono). The device is connected with USB but works because it's a MIDI device, it was recognized automatically without any tweaking.
