The GOG.com version of the game, distributed with GOG's custom installer.
The Single player - Played the game for a few hours and things are stable and audio works flawlessly
What does not
1- Going in to the menu during game play and then returning to the game results in the view port no longer rendering properly leaving artifacts when ever the view port is moved making the game practical unplayable.
2- Clicking on the church and some other buildings crashes the game.
3- The game dose not play well withe multiple monitors the game works but the menu dose not open properly, it can't be moved to other monitors, and alt tabbing messes withe inputs.
1- Did not find a permanent fix to this problem but if it is necessary to open the menu the rendering can be fixed by saving the game and quitting back to the main menu and then loading the last save this will make the game render normally again until the menu is opened once more
2- Installing d9vk fixes the problem dxvk did not work for me
3- Setting up a virtual desktop at 1280x1024 makes the game effectively a windowed game solving most of the issues associated withe multiple monitors but also causes problem #1
What was not tested
Did not get the wide screen fix to work there is an error asking to run P3Setup.exe but running P3Setup.exe dose not change anything
Finally I Installed a language patch (https://www.compiware-forum.de...) to convert the game in to German and the problem withe opening the menu causing the view port to not render properly disappeared. I don't know why but some one more knowledgeable then me will hopefully figure this out and if you speak German it is worth trying to see if it solves the problem.
