Maintainers: About Maintainership
What works
Creating (both blank and using templates), opening and saving presentations, exporting to PDF.
Slide show view, including transitions.
Converting to SmartArt.
Inserting WordArt and images (using the clipboard or through the Insert dialog box) as well as new slides.
Altering slide design, as well as the preview that appears when the pointer hovers over a design.
What does not
Font aliasing is present, unlike native applications on Windows and Linux.
Some slides in the slide pane and New Slide dropdown may not be rendered properly, appearing as black boxes.
Once an object has been selected, it is not possible to do anything with it, such as moving it around, unless it is deselected first. This does not affect text boxes, where text can still be typed in if the user clicks in the text area.
Sometimes PowerPoint may not start properly, instead displaying the Configuring dialog. This can be worked around by killing the respective processes and running PowerPoint again.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Anything not mentioned above.
Hardware tested

Additional Comments
Winetricks and Mono (said not found, declined offer to install) were not used. Requires a DLL override for "riched20.dll", select "Native (Windows)" to run. The registry value "HKCU\Software\Wine\Direct3D\MaxVersionGL" (DWORD) must be set to "30002" (hex) to avoid a black screen on load. You may need to create the "Direct3D" key first if it is not present.

I installed Office 2013 and Word is working quite nicely but Powerpoint and Excel not. I tried the override of riched20 but that didn't work, still it does not startup.
Kubunut 16.04.
Wine version: 2.18
I am mainly using playonlinux to run powertpoint and the others. The problem is well known but I cannot find an answer which is working. I already changed the riched20.dll to use native and nit builtin but that does not change anything. Maybe I am doing it the wrong way?
Thanks Benjamin.
