What works

The installer got up to the point of inserting the next CD but when unmounting the drive to put the next CD in you get a device is busy error.  To install you will need to copy the cds to your hard disk (you will need about 1.2 GB of space just for the ISOs) then mount the ISOs at different mount points (like /mnt/cd1 /mnt/cd2 and /mnt/cd3) on loopback devices and change the path when prompted for the next cd in the installer.

Steps to install:
1) Copy the cds to your hard drive
Put each cd in, make sure they are not mounted and run "dd if=/dev/hdd of=/iso/simpsons1.iso" change /dev/hdd for the DEVICE NODE of your cd drive, not mount point and change /iso/simpsons1.iso to where you want to put the image.  Do this for each CD and change the number for each cd (/iso/simpsons1.iso /iso/simpsons2.iso and so on)
2) Mount the isos
Make 3 folders (probably need to be root)
   mkdir /mnt/cd1 /mnt/cd2 /mnt/cd3
   Then mount the images
   mount /iso/simpsons1.iso /mnt/cd1 -t iso9660 -o loop
   mount /iso/simpsons2.iso /mnt/cd2 -t iso9660 -o loop
   mount /iso/simpsons3.iso /mnt/cd3 -t iso9660 -o loop

After you have done this run wine /mnt/cd1/Launch.exe and proceed with the install, I used all the default options except I did a full install instead of a minimal install but I don't think the installation options will have much of an effect on whether it works or not.  I think the setup found the rest of the install files already on the other mount points because it didn't ask me for CDs 2 and 3, just 1 again when it had finished.

What does not

Had to put the CD back in to start the game without it complaining about no CD being inserted, upon doing this the initial screen appeared but that was it, wine got an unhandled exception and dumped me back to a console with no game running :(.

What was not tested

The game (wouldn't run)
