Installation and the game itself - graphics, sound and input.
What does not
Running on multi-core processors -- see additional comments for workaround, otherwise the game is ridiculously slow at loading and fails to render the map when travelling long distances.
What was not tested
The entire game from start to finish.
* Installed using the 'full install' option. * Installed to a folder without spaces (eg. "C:\Games\TheSimpsonsHitRun") During my tests, the 'wineserver' process locked the disc, so it may be advisable to copy the installation files from all discs and use winecfg to point to the installation media. As the game is old, it is likely to have issues running on multiple core processors (this is also present under Windows). Instead, you will need to start the game with this command: $ taskset -c 0 wine Simpsons.exe
