Mobius Final Fantasy

What works

I've played about 40 hours without any major issues once in-game. Videos, voices, combat, controls, and changing settings all work as expected.

What does not

This game requires a 64-bit prefix and Visual C++ Runtime 2010. Due to bug 30713 you should run winetricks vcrun2010 before Steam installs it. If the runtime is incorrectly installed the in-game news doesn't work.

Mileage may vary, but I can only get the game to start or render properly with a staging version of Wine and selecting the DirectX renderer at launch. Non-staging either renders everything pink or crashes immediately, even with the OpenGL mode.

The Steam overlay doesn't work even if gameoverlayrenderer is enabled with winecfg. Shift+TAB does nothing. Because of this, in-game purchases with real money are impossible. When you click OK it just says Purchase canceled.

Workarounds

Run winetricks vcrun2010 before installing for in-game news to work.

I didn't try multiplayer.
