Installation guide in the How-To note. NOTE 1: Traktor doesn't support 64-bit ASIO drivers, but rather supports only the 32-bit ones. Having a low latency audio setup is extremely important when mixing (and especially when scratching), so using an ASIO driver is pretty much mandatory. To use Traktor in conjunction with Jack, install the 32-bit WineASIO driver (even if you are on a 64-bit system and WINEPREFIX!). Copy the 32-bit wineasio.dll file (available in the wineasio deb installer from the KXStudio sourceforge repo) to windows\system32 and windows\syswow64 and register it using "wine regsvr32 wineasio.dll". NOTE 2: as Wine doesn't support direct USB communication between software and the computer, any HID device which utilizes a custom protocol to connect with Traktor won't work. Examples: any Traktor Kontrol/3rd party device with a graphical display (exception: Denon HC4500 & similar). However, Traktor supports MIDI mapping, so you will be able to use any other device (such as the previously mentioned Denon Device) or any of your controllers with the provided or your custom MIDI mapping. To check out whether your device is compatible, check out if it uses the MIDI protocol in the following table: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/209557129-Third-Party-TRAKTOR-READY-Controllers-with-Enhanced-TRAKTOR-Integration However, you may be able to initialize your controller in a MIDI mode (Native Instrument's Traktor Kontrol devices support this). However, some functionality (including but not limited to the displays) may be lost.
