What works

- Installation (Error at the end of the installation can be ignored)

- Playing game

- Detecting primary Monitor at correct resolution

- Rendering of the first cutscene at 1-2 FPS

What does not

- Sound is distorted / crackling

- Graphics:

  - The ingame-cursor is lagging

  - With lowest settings the game plays is almost unplayable with about 1-2 FPS (should have more FPS even with my GPU)

  - Sometimes I could not see anything.

  - The Shadows are buggy (parts of textures are black; fixed when getting closer at them) [see Extra-comments]

UPDATE:

Using Wine-Staging and CSMT I got a lot better performance. Graphics glitches still existing but the game seem to have at least 30 FPS or more. Only some Framedrops from time to time the Shadow-Bug, and some problems with the lightning (sometimes unable to see anything). Video:

Workarounds

What was not tested

- Further playing than first cutscene and first steps in the game

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: Nvidia
  • Driver: proprietary

Additional Comments

According to the graphics settings, the Game uses DirectX 11.
For a DirectX11-Game it works quiete well with not a single crash. But the performance is cruel.
